
Mr. Sternal concentrates on civil trial and appellate practice in the areas of commercial/business law, insurance law, personnel law, administrative law and environmental law and compliance. Mr. Sternal appeared in numerous cases in the federal court system on behalf of the United States before joining the firm, including appeals before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has handled many important environmental law matters, including water and air quality and Superfund sites. He has litigated business insurance claims, trademark issues, shareholder disputes, Public Records Act issues and Title VII claims among other matters in state and federal courts since joining the firm.
