We are pleased to welcome Gary S. Stirbis, formerly with Moss Adams LLP and Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, as a new partner in our Tacoma office.

Following his graduation from Seattle University School of Law and receiving his LLM in Taxation from the University of Washington, Gary worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Moss Adams LLP in their tax departments. He then worked as a litigation attorney for Office of Chief Counsel of the IRS. He returned to Moss Adams in 2005 to head up their IRS tax controversy practice, managing all major IRS engagements including IRS audits, appeals, and collections matters.

Gary's practice will focus on federal tax planning and structuring, with an emphasis on IRS representation.
